The IJURR editorial board have decided that we will be introducing an annual IJURR Best Article Prize, for the article that makes the most original and outstanding contribution to the journal. For the first prize awarded, covering the year 2013, we are delighted to announce that the prize will be shared by two articles:

Alex Schafran

The Primacy of Space in Politics: Bargaining Rights, Freedom and Power in an Istanbul Neighborhood
Berna Turam
