This Thursday IJURR hosts the IJURR AAG Lecture 2018 at the American Association of Geographers Annual Meeting. The lecture is titled Muslim Hoedowns, Tenuous Language and the Suspended Lives of the Urban Majority and is presented by Abdoumaliq Simone, Urbanist and Research Professor at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity.

The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception.
